Karma

Finally we caught something!!  Spent the day with Stileet running errands, playing cards, and going to lunch.  When we came back we went diving.  There is a lobster by our boat that we just can't seem to catch.  I drove the dingy while the boys kept diving down.  They came up looking like they had just found gold!  Took them a good 45 minutes before whatever they had found was hooked up and ready to be taken back to the boat.  Preston then told me we no longer needed to purchase a dingy anchor as they had just found one.  "Sweet, finally we have some good luck," I thought to myself.  Then they raised the new anchor out of the water like the "catch of the day" and I about fell off the boat laughing so hard.  It is bigger than our dink and weighs a few hundred pounds.  What are we going to do with this? Preston is determined, just like with the trailer, that he can sell it to someone.  Anyone in the market for a cruise ship anchor?

So what do you get for dinner when you don't catch anything and haven't been to the store in over a week?  Hotdog tacos and garlic cheese mashed potatoes.  We ended the day with one of our favorite games, Mexican Train Dominos.  Don't know if it gets any better than this.

  1. If you sold the trailer, I'm confident you'll sell the anchor!

    1. Too bad we never sold the trailer. We gave it away for free and even that was a difficult task!
